Milk & Tofu Mask
This super easy to make DIY mask is a Summer must have! It's easy to make with only 2 ingredients and super easy to find in your kitchen.
Yes just fresh milk and Tofu!
After a day of outdoor activities in the scorching sun, this mask is a saver. It helps to reduce after-sun damage to the skin, and soothes the skin. It nourishes, moisturize and reduces the redness of sunburn. It has a calming effect and reduces inflammation.
Tofu contains lots of proteins, soy isoflavones and soy lecithin that repairs our skin. Milk contains lots of proteins and is effective in whitening and softening the skin texture as well.
You can also add in some Aloe Vera gel if you have some.
1. Tofu 50g
2. Fresh Milk 10g
3. Aloe Vera gel (optional)
1. Mix all ingredients together and blend them well either using a electric blender or by hand.
2. Apply on clean face or body or sun burnt areas. Wait for 15-20 mins.
3. Wash off with warm water.
4. For a more cooling effect, add Aloe Vera or leave in fridge for 20 mins before use.
This mask can be use 1-2 times per week. Once blended it can kept in the fridge for up to 3 days. It's suitable for all skin types.
